Swine Flu Update for May 1st.
There are a total of 109 Swine Flu (Flue) cases in the United States. New York has the most cases, with 50. 1 child
has died in Texas.
According to the CDC, these things can help prevent the flu (including the swine flu)
1. Avoid Close Contact with sick people sick.
2. If you are sick, stay home from work. Your boss will appreciate that more.
3. Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze. Sneezing into your arm/sleeve is better than your hand
4. Clean your hands several times a day.
5. Keep your hands away from your eyes, nose and mouth
6. Get plenty of sleep, eat healthy, drink a lot of water and exercise
If you will be traveling or are concerned about exposure, I would recommend you use a N95 or N99 mask such as the Wein ViraMask for protection. Some may also want to use the Wein Air Supply personal air purifier. Increasing your consumption of vitamin D, vitamin C and drinking plenty of water can also be helpful. A good night sleep will help increase your immune system so that if exposed, you are more likely to fight it off
and a pale horse named DEATH took many!
