		<description>A CAT scan possibly saved my life, as a child... perhaps I&#039;m always going to be a bit biased.

A doctor shouldn&#039;t be sending children for any type of scan or x-ray without warrant... but iI&#039;m assuming in the US (here in the UK things are different) that the private nature of the business means that some unscrupulous doctors would abuse the system to get hold of some more money.

I recently watched Sicko ,and whilst I think Mr Moore paints a too-rosey picture of the NHS, I was  very much shocked by what I had learned about the US system of health care.</description>
