Jan. – - taken by ambulance middle of nite w/severe chest pains, short of breath and radiating stomach pains. Put on oxygen, morphine, tests of every kind…run…nothing. Released week later w/diagnosis “possible virus of some sort…”

May – - took drive to Walgreen’s, purchased two bottles of sleeping pills along w/one from home and razors. Downed over 240 pills – - woke up six days later surrounded by family. Was given last rites, kept alive on respirator…spent time in psyche unit.

Ostracized by all. Only one person knew I was taking Chantix (as I was a closet smoker – - 4 cigs per day). Oct. ‘08 – - my mom kept giving me negative articles about Chantix side effects. Finally, I started to pay attention and was ecstatic to find out I was not alone! I am praying Pfizer will be strung up for allowing such a mind blowing drug to be distributed. I filled two prescriptions between Oct. ‘06 and Oct. ‘07. Also, I had been one (10 years) and am still on an antidepressant for depression. Let me say ONE MORE THING!! Chantix is a lobotamy by mouth. I never thought twice about throwing myself away. In fact, it wasn’t a matter of “IF”…it was “WHEN”…my mind was not my own. I decided I was tired of living and that was that.
