		<description>Very interesting, all the links between vitamin D, cancer, and obesity...it makes me wonder, however, if rates of other kinds of cancers are higher in obese people as well. Wondering if it might have to do with toxins as well.

Studies have linked low vitamin D to increased risk of breast cancer. It has also been show when when you have enough D, certain cell types make their own D (breast cells and colon cells are two cells types that will make their own D) and that can significantly reduce your risk of getting those cancers.

The D hormone is known to be a key in gene expression. With enough D, cells act like they&#039;re supposed to and thus your chances of developing cancer decrease significantly.

Could it all go back to D?</description>
