Omega-3 Fats protect against Parkinsons-

Fish Oil Supplements Omega 3 fatty acids are found in fish, fish oils and nuts such as almonds. Numerous studies have shown that Omega-3 fatty acids (opposed to Omega 6) have numerous health benefits. They have been shown to have anti-inflammatory effectcs, lower triglycerides ( a component of a cholesterol test) and protect the heart. Drug companies have not begun to market these fish oils to physicians. Lovaza, promoted by Reliant Pharmaceuticals, is promoted to physicians as being a safe and healthy treatment for cholesterol abnormalities. A recent study also shows that these oils can also be beneficial in protecting against Parkinsons disease.
